We take pride in offering high quality programs and resources. If a program or resource does not meet your expectations, please contact us at 780.420.1987.

PROGRAMS

Payment

You may pay for programs by credit card (VISA or Mastercard) during the online registration process or by calling our office at 780.420.1987, Alternatively, you may choose to be invoiced and pay by cheque mailed to our office. Cheques must be received within 30 days of registration or 1 week prior to the program running (whichever is earlier) or your registration may be cancelled. You will not receive e-materials if payment has not been received. Registrations received within 1 week of the program date must be paid online at the time of registration by VISA or Mastercard. Please contact us if you require an access bursary or modified payment schedule.

Program materials

Program materials are provided in an electronic format and can be accessed via a link emailed to registrants at least 2 days prior to the program date.

Registration transfers 

Program registration can be transferred to another person at no extra charge up until the time e-materials have been sent to registrants. Registration cannot be transferred once e-materials have been sent. Registration cannot be shared by more than one person.

Cancellation: single or half-day programs

Registration fees, less a $50.00 (plus GST) cancellation fee, will be refunded for cancellations received in writing at least 5 business days prior to the program. Refunds cannot be given after that date; however, program materials (if any) will be provided.

Cancellation: multi-day programs (EXCEPT for Intensive Advocacy)

Registration fees, less a $250.00 (plus GST) cancellation fee, will be refunded for cancellations received in writing at least 14 business days prior to the program start date. Refunds cannot be given after that date; however, program materials (if any) will be provided.

Cancellation: Intensive Advocacy

Registration fees, less a $250.00 (plus GST) cancellation fee, will be refunded for cancellations received in writing at least 30 business days prior to the program start date. Refunds cannot be given after that date.

PUBLICATIONS

Payment

Full payment is required before publications or access to online resources will be provided, except for regular practice manual updates. Please contact us if you require an access bursary or modified payment schedule.

Returns

Publications in new, unopened condition may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund less a $20.00 processing fee. Shipping costs are not refundable.

Practice Manual Subscriptions

Titles in LESA’s Practice Manual Series are updated periodically. Subscribers automatically receive updates, invoiced at the time of publication. Update notices are sent at least four weeks prior to the newly released update. You may remove yourself from a subscription list at any time by logging into your account and viewing your “memberships” or by calling us at 780.420.1987.

ONLINE CLASSROOM

Access to a Seminar on Demand or self-study module will be provided by email within 3 business days of receipt of payment. Refunds for a Seminar on Demand or self-study module can be requested at any time prior to accessing the resource.

LESA LIBRARY

Access to the LESA Library will be provided by email within 3 business days of receipt of payment. Annual LESA Library subscriptions can be cancelled for a full refund up to 5 business days from receiving your login credentials, after which annual subscriptions are not refundable. LESA Library subscribers agree to abide by the Terms of Use [insert link].

DISCOUNTS AND COUPONS

Coupons cannot be combined. Additional restrictions may be contained on the coupon. Coupons can be applied in addition to a student-at-law discount or distance bursary.
