Programs

Program formats and dates are subject to change. All program registrations must be purchased under the attendee or facilitator’s LESA.org account.

Webinars

Registration is available for webinars through individual tickets or a firm broadcast.

Individual Tickets

Individual tickets are for a single attendee only. An individual ticket must be purchased under the attendee’s LESA.org account. Individual ticketholders will automatically receive the webinar recording in their LESA Classroom account (subject to any issues with the recording). Individuals who are not registered for a webinar are not permitted to view the program or access the materials. If multiple lawyers or staff members from a firm or organization wish to view a webinar and receive the recording, each attendee requires a separate ticket. Firms and organizations who wish to have three or more lawyers or staff members attend as individual registrants are eligible for a 10% discount on each ticket. Firm broadcasts are also available for law firms who wish to view the live webinar broadcast together as a group. See below for additional details on our discounted group registration options.

Firm Broadcast Ticket

A firm broadcast ticket allows firms or organizations to purchase a webinar for viewing as a group at a significantly discounted per person fee. Firm broadcast tickets are purchased by a facilitator and are available in four tiers: up to 4 viewers, 5-7 viewers, 8-10 viewers, and 11+ viewers. The facilitator will receive all webinar access details and is granted permission to broadcast the webinar for the pre-selected number of viewers. The facilitator may download and distribute program materials to the pre-selected number of viewers in advance of the live webinar broadcast. The webinar must be viewed by all viewers in the same location (such as a boardroom) and at the same time. Access links cannot be shared with viewers and must only be used by the facilitator. Materials for the webinar will not be accessible after the live webinar broadcast. The facilitator will not receive the webinar recording. Firm broadcasts cannot be combined with other discounts.

10% Discount for Multiple Registrations

Three or more lawyers or staff members from the same firm or organization who wish to purchase individual tickets are eligible for a 10% discount on each ticket. To receive the discount, all lawyers or staff members must purchase an individual ticket for the same program and apply the coupon code GROUP10 on checkout. Each person must complete their own ticket purchase using their individual LESA.org account. This discount will be applied to the already discounted ticket price for students and newly called lawyers. If a firm or organization does not meet the minimum threshold of three individual tickets, each attendee will be invoiced the difference following the webinar.

Program Materials

Program materials are provided in an electronic format and can be accessed on the attendee’s LESA Classroom. Program materials cannot be shared or distributed without the express written permission from LESA.

Ticket Transfers

Individual tickets and firm broadcast tickets may be transferred to another attendee or facilitator for a $50 (plus GST) administration fee. Notice of a ticket transfer must be  received from the attendee in writing (to [email protected]) three business days prior to the webinar. Tickets cannot be transferred after that date; however, program materials and recordings (if any) will be provided to individual ticket holders. Partial refunds are not issued for ticket transfers if transferred to an attendee in a different discount category.

Cancellations

Ticket fees, less a $50 (plus GST) cancellation fee, will be refunded for cancellations received in writing (to [email protected]) at least three business days prior to the webinar. Cancellation requests must come from the attendee and refunds will be issued to the same form of payment used for the original purchase. Refunds cannot be given after that date; however, program materials and recordings (if available and applicable for the ticket) will be provided.
